SETTING A COURSE
FOR GREATNESS
Who We Are
We founded the Cobbs Creek Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and attracted an array of public and private funding with one goal in mind: to turn our 350 acres into a transformational campus that belongs to every Philadelphian, every local resident, and all golf lovers wherever they are.
The heart of our expanded mission is a self-sustaining model, enabling golf to become a vital conduit for social impact. We will retain our pioneering public links commitment to making golf accessible and will return this course to a championship level benefiting the city and region.
Best of all, the revenue generated from 36 holes for all levels of golfers and a best-in-class driving range complex, complete with a restaurant and our Heritage Center, will support the community-minded Cobbs Creek Campus. Here, a wealth of free programming for students in grades 1–12, as well as events for families, environmental stewards, and more, will thrive and grow.
Together, we are creating a campus of opportunities, all powered by golf.
Once our work is complete, we estimate 285,000 annual visitors will come to Cobbs Creek Campus. The consumers among them—playing nine or 18 holes, honing their swings at our two-story Driving Range, and dining at our restaurant—will all have one thing in common. The revenue they generate will directly support the educational and community programming we provide and youth scholarships awarded through the Charlie Sifford Scholarship Fund.
Golf will change lives—and our community will be the winners.
