The Cobbs Creek Foundation community came together in extraordinary ways on November 22nd, delivering 115 dignity meals (20 lb turkeys, fresh veggies, fruit, stuffing, and so much more!) to families in three of our local elementary partner schools.
Each school was asked to identify families who would benefit most from this offering and the pictures here tell the magical story!
Thank you to all who donated and helped us extend such hope! We are very grateful to have these meaningful relationships with our school partners and are already envisioning expanding our reach even wider next year!
A special, indescribable thank you to the Impact at Cobbs Creek Youth Advisory Board for their fundraising efforts and to the 28 young adults who showed up and packed all of the meals which our Cobbs Creek staff then delivered. Our Youth Advisory Board is an extraordinary group of young people who acted with agency and heart!
